Expocafé — Sociedad Exportadora de Café de las Cooperativas de Caficultores S.A. — exists to carry the work of Colombia's coffee-grower cooperatives to the world. We are in direct contact with producer communities throughout the Colombian coffee-growing region and promote a direct line of communication between buyers and the growers behind every lot.

Colombian coffee grows on steep tropical slopes between roughly 1,200 and 2,000 metres, hand-picked cherry by cherry and washed-processed on the farm. That terrain, altitude and care are why Colombian washed Arabica is the world's benchmark for a clean, balanced, well-rounded cup.
Working through the cooperatives lets us invest back in the people who grow the coffee — supporting producer well-being, traceability and certified, responsibly grown programs that buyers and their own customers increasingly require.
