Overview
Specialty coffee is graded by cup quality, not just bean size — typically an SCA cup score of 80 and above, with our specialty lots focused on 84+. These coffees come from defined communities, farms and innovation projects, where altitude, variety and careful processing create a distinctive, traceable cup.
We evaluate specialty lots to SCA cupping protocols and can provide cup scores, tasting notes and origin information for each. Many come from our innovation projects — Seynekun, Margure, Apecafé and Florencia among them — built directly with producer communities.
Specialty and microlots are limited by nature; we work with buyers ahead of harvest to reserve and prepare the profiles they want, conventional or certified.
